  2. A quick table of contents so you know what's in this archive:

  4. $READ_ME.1ST    -       This file.
  5. $TOC            -       Table of Contents for the FLU_SHOT+  archive.  This
  6.                         is  a 'PKARC V FSP' listing,  showing the names and
  7.                         filesizes of each file in the archive.  A good idea
  8.                         is  to  check out the contents against  the  actual
  9.                         archive contents itself.
  10. FSP.TXT         -       The documentation for FLU_SHOT+. You can print this
  11.                         out by de-arcing it and typing COPY FSP.TXT PRN.
  12. UPDATES.TXT     -       A file explaining changes to this version. This
  13.                         is version 1.1.
  14. FSP.COM         -       The   FLU_SHOT+   program   itself.     Read    the
  15.                         documentation  first.   I  will  not  accept  calls
  16.                         asking  for assitance from people who have not read
  17.                         the documentation first!
  18. FLUSHOT.DAT     -       A generic table of what programs to protect. You'll
  19.                         have to modify it a bit for your own needs.  You'll
  20.                         need to read the documentation in order to do that.
  21. FLU_POKE.COM    -       allows  you to rename the FLUSHOT.DAT file to  hide
  22.                         it away from prying eyes.
  23. MY_OWN.CPY      -       How you can get your own copy of FLU_SHOT+,  mailed
  24.                         directly to you.
  25. FLU_REG.FRM     -       How    to   register    FLU_SHOT+.     Registration
  26.                         restrictions can be found in the documentation.
  27. REWARD.FRM      -       How  to donate software and hardware into a  reward
  28.                         fund  to give to the Good Citizen who turns in  the
  29.                         worm.
  30. REWARD.LST      -       A listing of the donations to date.
  31. RAMNET.TXT      -       A  blatant commercial advertisement which  attempts
  32.                         to  get  you  to buy  a  background  communications
  33.                         program called 'RamNet'.
  34. THE_COOP.TXT    -       Information  about  The  Programmer's   Co_op,   an
  35.                         organization  which  exists  solely to  help  small
  36.                         software  developers get their products  to  market
  37.                         with the least expense.
  38. HARDWARE.TXT    -       Information  about  protecting your hard disk  with
  39.                         hardware.
  40. PRINT.BAT       -       A  quickie  little  batch  file  which  copies  all
  41.                         readable text to your printer.
  42. F_FEED          -       A simple form-feed character to help PRINT.BAT

  44. That's a lot of files!  Here's what I suggest you do:  de-arc the entire
  45. contents  in  a new directory.   Then,  execute the PRINT.BAT  file  (by
  46. typing "PRINT", then a return from within the new directory), which will
  47. print  the entrie contents out to your local printer.   It doesn't  mean
  48. there  is  less  to read:  just that you're sure of  getting  the  whole
  49. contents!

  51. I've  tried to be subtle about the need for you to read  the  documentation
  52. file  before  attempting  to do anything with  FLU_SHOT+.   Has  my  subtle
  53. attempt worked? :-)
